Meet the Founder

Mitsuhiro Matsuura 

Registered Architect / LEED AP

He began studying abroad in the United States during junior high school and ultimately graduated from the School of Architecture at Carnegie Mellon University in 2010. After returning to Japan, he pursued graduate studies at the Tokyo Institute of Technology, completing them in 2014. He gained experience in both domestic and international architectural design while working at Tezuka Architects and Atelier Bow-Wow. He later worked for Gensler and WeWork/Powered by We, expanding his focus to workplace design. Eventually, he became an independent designer under the name Tokyo Creators' Project. In 2022, he established his own design firm, designFreak, and is now working on a global scale with a variety of creative teams.
